About the Project
Meet David and Lorie from Coppell, Texas. Their guest bathroom was outdated and needed a lift.
Not only is it the main floor bathroom that visitors and guests use, it is the first bathroom when arriving home.
They also wished to convert their bathtub to a walk-in shower to plan for older guests staying in their home.
It was time for a change, and they wanted to have something with an up-to-date style to match the rest of their lovely home.
The Process
We removed the tub and built the curb and mud pan structure to accommodate the new shower. We then designed an unobtrusive niche for additional storage to hold all their shower supplies.
As they loved their wood flooring in their bathroom, we added matching floor tile that extended past the curb for added water protection getting in and out of the shower.
They would soon paint the walls and replace their vanity to complete the bathroom renovation.
The Result
This guest bathroom renovation boosts the value of their home.
With the added storage in the niche, this upgrade is enjoyed by every visitor to their home and brings the homeowners a smile to their faces every day they use it.
This project was well worth the time and effort.
David and Lorie now have a gorgeous guest bathroom that they are proud to show their friends and guests!
