About the Project
One day we received a phone call from Wesley, who lived in Fort Worth. His family had a problem. They recently had sprung a leak!
The leak had been fixed, but, the carpeting in the bathroom could not be revived.
We recommended to replace the carpet with tile since bathroom floors are much more likely to get wet than most other rooms in the house. Tile floors are resilient, naturally antibacterial, and stand up to stains.
With a great team experienced in both tiling and wood working, Cornerstone Rock Solid came to the rescue to revamp their bathroom floor.
The Process
Our team removed the carpeting and prepped the floor.
To save on materials, we carefully removed the baseboards so that we could reinstall them once the tile was in place.
We custom fit and installed the new tile floor, carefully cutting the door jambs to slip the tile underneath. Then, we topped it off with their salvaged baseboards.
The Result
Wesley had found the right team to fix their problem, with durable tile for their bathroom.
With the carpet gone, the new tile certainly adds value and beauty to their home. The baseboards were each returned to their proper place with a fresh coat of paint.
Their bathroom floor has a facelift that looks good, is easy to clean and easy to keep clean. It is antibacterial by nature, which helps keep it safe for the whole family.
